Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Vesigenurtacel-L (HS-410) is an investigational allogeneic cell-based cancer vaccine developed for the treatment of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). It consists of a genetically modified bladder cancer cell line engineered to secrete a recombinant form of the immunoadjuvant heat shock protein gp96 fused with tumor antigens. This design aims to stimulate a robust T-cell mediated immune response against multiple bladder tumor antigens, leveraging Heat Biologics' ImPACT platform technology. The vaccine is intended to activate killer T cells that recognize and attack urothelial carcinoma cells. Vesigenurtacel-L represents a novel approach in therapeutic vaccines for high-grade NMIBC and has received FDA Fast Track designation[1][2][3][4][5][7].
