These particles deliver self-amplifying RNA encoding specific influenza antigens, such as hemagglutinin (HA), into host cells. Once inside, the viral replicase drives high-level expression of the antigen without producing new infectious virus particles, thereby stimulating robust humoral and cellular immune responses.
