Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VETOFLEX is a range of veterinary intravenous solutions developed and manufactured by the French pharmaceutical company Laboratoire Bioluz. The primary formulation is an isotonic 0.9% sodium chloride solution, which serves as an electrolyte replacement and fluid therapy for animals such as cattle, horses, sheep, and goats. Its mechanism of action involves the restoration and maintenance of extracellular fluid and electrolyte balance, making it essential for volume replacement in cases of dehydration or hypovolemia. Approved in France since 2012, the VETOFLEX line also encompasses other formulations including glucose solutions and Ringer's Lactate to address various clinical needs in veterinary medicine.
