Overview

Vevye is a prescription ophthalmic solution containing cyclosporine 0.1% (1 mg/mL), indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease in adults. Cyclosporine is an immunosuppressive agent that acts as a calcineurin inhibitor, reducing ocular surface inflammation associated with dry eye disease and thereby improving tear production. Vevye utilizes EyeSol, a water-free technology designed to enhance absorption and prolong the effect of cyclosporin on the ocular surface. The most common side effects are instillation site reactions (such as irritation) and temporary blurred vision[1][3][4][5].
