Overview

**VH3810109 + cabotegravir** is a combination investigational therapy for HIV consisting of VH3810109, a broadly neutralizing antibody (bNAb) targeting HIV-1, and cabotegravir, a long-acting small-molecule integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI). VH3810109 (also known as N6LS or VH109) blocks HIV from entering healthy cells and activates immune cells to clear infected cells, while cabotegravir inhibits viral DNA integration, preventing replication. This combination is studied for long-acting HIV maintenance therapy, aiming to maintain viral suppression with infrequent dosing and reduce the burden of daily antiretroviral therapy. The main developer is ViiV Healthcare, and this regimen is currently in phase 2b clinical trials for virologically suppressed people with HIV, with evidence of efficacy and good tolerability in completed and ongoing studies[1][3][4].
