Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VI Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel developed by the Vitality Institute. It consists of a synergistic blend of active ingredients, including trichloroacetic acid (TCA), phenol, salicylic acid, retinoic acid, and ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). The formulation works through keratolytic and kerato-coagulation mechanisms to promote desquamation and cellular renewal. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of photoaging, fine lines, wrinkles, acne, and hyperpigmentation. Clinical studies have explored its safety and efficacy when used in combination with other cosmetic treatments like botulinum toxin type A.
