Overview

Viasin is an orally administered granule formulation of sildenafil freebase developed by Sam-A Pharm for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. It is the world's first granule form of sildenafil, utilizing proprietary IDIA™ (Instant Dissolving and Immediate Absorption) Technology to provide an alternative to traditional tablet formulations. As a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, it works by enhancing blood flow to the penile tissue. The drug is approved and marketed in South Korea as an Incrementally Modified Drug (IMD).
