VIB305 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) designed to target the B7-H3 (CD276) antigen, a member of the B7 family of immune checkpoint proteins that is frequently overexpressed in a variety of advanced solid tumors. Developed by Vibrant Sciences, the molecule consists of a humanized anti-B7-H3 monoclonal antibody conjugated to a cytotoxic topoisomerase I inhibitor payload via a linker. VIB305 is engineered to selectively bind to B7-H3 on the surface of tumor cells, facilitating internalization and the subsequent release of the payload to induce DNA damage and apoptosis. It is currently undergoing clinical evaluation for its safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary antitumor activity in patients with unresectable or advanced malignant solid tumors.
