Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ViBone is a next-generation **human cellular allograft bone matrix** designed for bone repair in spinal, orthopedic, and maxillofacial procedures[1][2][3][5][7][10]. It is comprised of cryopreserved bone matrix containing native viable cells, including **mesenchymal stem cells**, osteoprogenitor cells, and osteoblasts[7][10]. The matrix integrates cancellous bone particles with preserved cells and demineralized cortical bone particles processed via a proprietary method to optimize cell viability and minimize apoptosis[6][7][10]. ViBone provides **osteogenic, osteoinductive, and osteoconductive properties** comparable to autograft, and contains endogenous bone growth factors such as **BMP-2 and BMP-7**[1][7]. It has been shown to enhance bone formation, support cell proliferation, and enable rapid thawing without special preparation[1][7][10]. ViBone is regulated as a Human Cellular and Tissue Based Product (HCT/P) and indicated for use in bone grafting procedures for spinal fusion, orthopedic injury, and degenerative bone conditions[4][6][10].
