Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Vicacom is an oral fixed-dose combination product developed and marketed by ICA Pharmaceuticals (ICA Biotechnological & Pharmaceutical) in Vietnam. It is formulated as a capsule containing sodium chondroitin sulfate, retinol palmitate (vitamin A), choline hydrogen tartrate, riboflavin (vitamin B2), and thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1). Vicacom is indicated for the treatment of eye fatigue, keratitis, ophthalmoplegia, amblyopia during lactation, nyctalopia (night blindness), and as a nutritional supplement for decreased vision. The combination works synergistically to support ocular health: sodium chondroitin sulfate stabilizes the intracellular collagen of ocular muscles and maintains corneal transparency, while the vitamins and choline support epithelial tissue maintenance, protect the cornea, and prevent eye aging.
