VIKETAI (维可泰) is an autologous T-cell receptor engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy developed by Keshihua (Nanjing) Biotechnology (also known as TCRx). The therapy is designed to target the Melanoma-associated antigen A4 (MAGE-A4), a cancer-testis antigen that is highly expressed in various solid tumors—including synovial sarcoma, esophageal cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer—but has limited expression in normal adult tissues. VIKETAI involves genetically modifying a patient's own T cells to express a specific TCR that recognizes MAGE-A4 peptides presented by HLA molecules on the surface of tumor cells. Upon administration, these engineered T cells selectively bind to and eliminate MAGE-A4-positive tumor cells. It is currently in development for the treatment of unresectable or metastatic MAGE-A4 positive solid tumors.
