Overview

**Vilzemetkib** (AL2846) is an investigational, orally bioavailable small-molecule inhibitor of the c-Met receptor tyrosine kinase (also known as hepatocyte growth factor receptor or HGFR), which is frequently overexpressed or mutated in various cancers. Developed by Advenchen Laboratories, it binds to c-Met, preventing its phosphorylation and disrupting downstream signaling pathways critical for tumor cell proliferation, survival, invasion, metastasis, and angiogenesis. Currently in Phase 3 clinical trials for non-small cell lung cancer and thyroid cancer, with additional studies in Phase 2 for ovarian cancer, lung cancer, and other solid tumors, often in combination with agents like PD-L1 inhibitors for advanced malignancies including esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma.[1][4][7][10]
