Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VIPER-103 is an experimental CAR T-cell therapy developed by viTToria Biotherapeutics. It utilizes chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells engineered to target a novel B-cell antigen that is highly enriched in cancer and autoimmune diseases. By selectively targeting diseased B-cells, VIPER-103 aims to eliminate pathogenic or malignant cells while sparing healthy B-cells, potentially reducing the risk of immunosuppression associated with traditional B-cell depletion therapies. The program is currently in IND-enabling studies and is being explored for the treatment of B-cell-mediated autoimmune diseases[1].
