Vishtindukadi Vati is a classical Ayurvedic herbal-mineral formulation primarily used for neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. Its key active ingredient is Shuddha Kupilu (purified *Strychnos nux-vomica*), which contains the potent alkaloids strychnine and brucine. The seeds undergo a traditional Ayurvedic purification process known as Shodhana to mitigate toxicity before formulation. It acts as a potent nervine and cardiac stimulant, possessing analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. The formulation is commonly indicated for conditions such as paralysis, Parkinson's disease, sciatica, rheumatoid arthritis, and various types of nerve pain.
