Overview

VisiDisc is a dehydrated amniotic membrane allograft used in ophthalmology, primarily as a biological implant for ocular surface reconstruction and healing. It is processed from human amniotic tissue and designed to provide an ideal age-zero tissue implant, supporting wound healing, reducing inflammation, and minimizing scarring on the ocular surface. VisiDisc is available in both thin (amnion-only) and thick (chorion-based) configurations for improved handling and optimal coverage during surgical procedures. The product preserves the complete extracellular matrix using proprietary processing methods such as BioECM preserved by HydraTek[1][2]. Amniotic membrane allografts like VisiDisc are commonly used to treat various eye conditions requiring corneal or conjunctival repair[8].
