Overview

**VisionHD** is a Voyageur Pharmaceuticals high-density barium sulfate powder for reconstitution as an oral suspension. It is a diagnostic radiographic contrast agent indicated for double-contrast examinations of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum, and for visualization of the gastrointestinal tract during conventional X-ray and computed tomography procedures in patients aged 12 years and older. Barium sulfate is not systemically absorbed to a meaningful extent; it provides contrast by physically attenuating X-rays within the gastrointestinal lumen.
