Overview

Vispacabtagene regedleucel (vispa-cel; formerly CB-010) is an allogeneic anti-CD19 CAR-T cell therapy developed by Caribou Biosciences, Inc. It is engineered using CRISPR genome-editing technology (Cas9 chRDNA) to include a PD-1 knockout, a strategy designed to enhance CAR-T cell activity by preventing premature T-cell exhaustion. This off-the-shelf therapy is being investigated for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (r/r B-NHL).
