Drug intelligence / Profile preview
"visugromab + nivolumab + lenvatinib" is an investigational combination regimen being evaluated for the treatment of advanced cancers, specifically unresectable or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The regimen combines visugromab (CTL-002), a humanized monoclonal antibody that neutralizes tumor-derived growth differentiation factor-15 (GDF-15) to reverse immune suppression and overcome resistance to immunotherapy; nivolumab, an approved anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor that enhances T-cell anti-tumor activity; and lenvatinib, an approved oral multi-kinase inhibitor targeting VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFR, KIT, and RET to inhibit angiogenesis and tumor cell proliferation. This triple combination is designed to synergistically restore the immune system's ability to target tumors while simultaneously inhibiting tumor growth and vascularization, particularly in patients who have progressed on prior anti-PD-(L)1 therapies.
