Overview

Vitacoenzyme is a therapeutic and nutritional compound preparation produced by the fermentation of soybean residue using the fungus *Eremothecium ashbyii*. It is chemically heterogeneous, containing riboflavin (vitamin B2) and its derivatives (such as flavin mononucleotide and flavin adenine dinucleotide) as its primary active components, along with multiple other vitamins (particularly vitamin E), 18 amino acids, and 23 trace elements. In China, vitacoenzyme tablets are approved for the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis, superficial gastritis, and esophageal epithelial hyperplasia, and are used to prevent precancerous lesions and gastric cancer. It is also utilized as an adjuvant therapy for various types of hepatitis and riboflavin deficiency. Vitacoenzyme acts by supplying essential coenzymes for tissue respiration, promoting mucosal cell growth, improving gastrointestinal immunity, and protecting the gastric mucosa.
