Vitalliver is a traditional Chinese medicinal (TCM) formulation developed as a suppository for the treatment of chronic liver diseases, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and decompensated cirrhosis. Administered rectally, the medication is absorbed into the systemic circulation and delivered to the liver via the portal vein, bypassing initial first-pass metabolism in the upper gastrointestinal tract. Vitalliver acts as an immunomodulator, enhancing the activities of T-cells, B-cells, and natural killer (NK) cells.
