Overview

Vivonex is a line of elemental nutritional formulas containing 100% free amino acids designed for patients with severely impaired gastrointestinal function. The products require minimal digestive functionality for assimilation while providing benefits associated with continued use of the GI tract. Different formulations contain varying levels of fat (3-10% of calories) to support tolerance and reduce pancreatic stimulation.
