The product is a combination formulation typically containing the decongestants naphazoline hydrochloride and phenylephrine hydrochloride, along with cooling agents such as camphor and menthol. It is indicated for the temporary relief of eye redness, minor irritation, and congestion caused by environmental factors like dust, smoke, or wind. Naphazoline and phenylephrine act as sympathomimetic amines that stimulate alpha-adrenergic receptors, leading to vasoconstriction of the conjunctival blood vessels and a reduction in ocular redness.
