Overview
Vizol S Hydro Lipid Balance is a preservative-free ophthalmic emulsion designed to relieve moderate to severe symptoms of all types of dry eye, particularly those with evaporative etiology. It acts on all layers of the tear film by providing optimal moisturizing and restoring the lipid layer that protects against excessive evaporation of tears. The formulation contains sodium hyaluronate and glycerol for effective hydration and immediate symptom relief, as well as castor oil and vitamin E in nano drops to restore the lipid layer for improved tear film stability. The product is suitable for multiple daily use without removing contact lenses and features an innovative applicator that ensures sterility for up to six months after opening. Its mechanism involves replenishing both the mucoaqueous and lipid layers of the tear film, thereby stabilizing it and preventing excessive evaporation[1][2][3].
