Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VLR360 is an anti-PDGF-B (platelet-derived growth factor B) monoclonal antibody being developed by Velaris Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Alaunos Therapeutics. Discovered by Paragon Labs, VLR360 targets the PDGF-B signaling pathway, which is implicated in abnormal growth signaling and pulmonary vascular remodeling. It is being developed for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and related cardiopulmonary diseases, including secondary pulmonary hypertension associated with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (PH-HFpEF) and interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD). VLR360 is designed to be used either as a monotherapy or in combination with Velaris's ActRII-Fc ligand trap candidates (such as VLR199, VLR247, and VLR258) to address multiple signaling imbalances driving pulmonary vascular remodeling. The compound is currently in preclinical development, with proof-of-concept studies supported by a $350 million financing secured during the Alaunos-Velaris acquisition in October 2026.
