**VLX-2000** is a small-molecule inhibitor of ALOX12 (12-lipoxygenase, or 12-LOX), an enzyme involved in immune-mediated inflammatory pathways. Developed by Veralox Therapeutics for IgG-mediated and autoimmune diseases, it targets platelet activation and inflammation downstream of 12-LOX. It is a follow-on compound to VLX-1005 and is currently in preclinical development.
