Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VM206Ad is a biological, adenoviral vector-based therapeutic vaccine component developed by Reyon Pharmaceutical. It is designed to deliver and express the HER2/neu (ErbB2) antigen to stimulate a targeted immune response against HER2-positive cancer cells. VM206Ad is used as part of the VM206RY regimen, a heterologous prime-boost strategy that combines this adenoviral vector with a DNA plasmid vaccine (VM206DNA). The drug is administered via intramuscular injection and has been investigated in Phase I clinical trials for patients with HER2-expressing breast cancer.
