Overview

VNPP595 is a preclinical-stage small molecule developed by Isoprene Pharmaceuticals as a backup compound within their targeted protein degradation pipeline. It is characterized as a non-Cereblon molecular glue degrader. Based on its classification within the VNPP series (which includes the lead compound VNPP433-3β), VNPP595 is designed to target the androgen receptor (AR), its splice variants such as AR-V7, and the E3 ubiquitin ligase MDM2. The compound's mechanism involves inducing the degradation of these oncogenic proteins to overcome resistance mechanisms in advanced cancers, particularly castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).
