Overview

VNX-102 is an investigational in vivo AAV-delivered T-cell immuno-gene therapy being developed by Vironexis Biotherapeutics for the treatment of multiple myeloma. Built on the proprietary TransJoin™ platform, VNX-102 utilizes an adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector to deliver a transgene that encodes a bispecific T-cell engager. Unlike traditional CAR-T cell therapies that require complex ex vivo manufacturing, this approach involves a single intravenous injection that programs the patient's own cells (typically in the liver) to act as a "bio-factory," continuously producing and secreting the T-cell engager into the systemic circulation. The secreted protein is designed to simultaneously bind to a specific antigen on multiple myeloma cells and the CD3 receptor on T cells, thereby recruiting and activating the patient's endogenous T cells to eliminate the cancer. VNX-102 is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development.
