VNX-203 is an investigational AAV-delivered T-cell immuno-gene therapy being developed by Vironexis Biotherapeutics for the treatment of gastric cancer. The therapy is built upon the company's proprietary TransJoin™ platform, which utilizes an adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector to deliver a transgene that programs the patient's own T cells to recognize and eliminate gastric cancer cells in vivo. This approach is designed to provide the therapeutic benefits of T-cell-based immunotherapy while bypassing the logistical and manufacturing complexities associated with traditional ex vivo cell engineering. As of early 2024, VNX-203 is in the discovery stage of development.
