VNX002

VNX002 is a preclinical-stage anabolic biologic therapy being developed by Vaneltix Pharma in collaboration with Hyloris Pharmaceuticals. It is designed to promote the regeneration of damaged urothelium and stimulate the growth of bladder tissue. The drug is specifically being developed for the treatment of hemorrhagic cystitis resulting from physical trauma, radiation, or chemotherapy, as well as severe interstitial cystitis and Hunner's lesions. VNX002 is described as a glucagon-like peptide 2 (GLP-2) treatment, leveraging the regenerative properties of GLP-2 to address urologic disorders of the bladder wall in the regenerative medicine space.
