Vofatamab + docetaxel is an investigational combination therapy comprising vofatamab, a fully human monoclonal antibody highly specific for the Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 3 (FGFR3), and docetaxel, a well-established taxane chemotherapeutic agent. Vofatamab acts by blocking FGFR3 activation, including both wild-type and genetically activated (mutant or fusion) forms, thereby inhibiting downstream signaling pathways critical for tumor cell proliferation and survival[3][5][6]. Docetaxel disrupts microtubule dynamics essential for cell division, leading to mitotic arrest and apoptosis.
