Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Vonlerolizumab (also known as MOXR0916) is a humanized IgG1 agonistic monoclonal antibody that targets OX40 (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 4). It functions as an OX40 agonist, stimulating co-stimulatory signals in T cells, which is a mechanism relevant for cancer immunotherapy. Developed by Genentech, it was investigated for its potential in various solid tumors, including melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, urothelial carcinoma, and triple-negative breast cancer. The drug was administered intravenously. Genentech has terminated its Phase 2 trial for urothelial carcinoma and discontinued further development of Vonlerolizumab.
