vonoprazan + minocycline

vonoprazan + minocycline is an investigational combination therapeutic regimen being evaluated for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection, particularly in patients with antibiotic-resistant strains. The regimen consists of vonoprazan, a first-in-class potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB), and minocycline, a second-generation tetracycline antibiotic. Vonoprazan provides rapid, potent, and sustained inhibition of the gastric H+,K+-ATPase enzyme, maintaining a high intragastric pH that is essential for the stability and antimicrobial activity of antibiotics.
