Vopratelimab + ipilimumab is an investigational combination of two monoclonal antibodies designed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and urothelial carcinoma. **Vopratelimab** is a monoclonal antibody that acts as an **agonist of the Inducible T-cell CO-Stimulator (ICOS)**, enhancing T-cell activation, proliferation, and anti-tumor immune response. **Ipilimumab** is an antagonistic monoclonal antibody against **cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4)**, functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to promote T-cell activity. The combination is intended to synergistically activate and expand effector T-cell populations, especially ICOS-high CD4+ T cells, to increase antitumor immunity, especially in patients progressing after PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor therapies.
