Overview

Voyager-V1 (VV1) is an investigational oncolytic virotherapy based on a genetically engineered vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV). It is designed to selectively infect and destroy cancer cells while stimulating an anti-tumor immune response. Voyager-V1 can be administered as monotherapy or in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors such as cemiplimab, pembrolizumab, ipilimumab, or nivolumab. The therapy is being developed for the treatment of various solid tumors and has been evaluated in clinical trials for multiple cancer indications including non-small cell lung cancer and head and neck cancer. Its mechanism involves direct tumor cell lysis by viral replication and induction of systemic anti-tumor immunity[4].
