Overview

VP250 is a patch-based epicutaneous immunotherapy (EPIT) designed to induce desensitization in patients with peanut allergy. It contains 250 micrograms of peanut allergen and is administered to intact skin. The drug has been investigated in the Phase 3 EPITOPE study for the treatment of peanut allergy in young children aged 1 to less than 4 years, demonstrating statistical superiority to placebo in desensitizing patients.
