Overview

VR2076 (formerly known as SKP-2076) is a novel inhaled triple combination therapy consisting of an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA), and a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA). It is being developed for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The drug is formulated as an aerosol inhaler to provide comprehensive management of respiratory conditions by targeting inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and airway hyperresponsiveness. Initial development was led by Vectura in partnership with Mundipharma, which has assumed global responsibility for further development and commercialization[5].
