Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VRAD600 is a discovery-stage radio-theranostic agent being developed by VITRUVIAE for the treatment of solid tumors. The drug utilizes a proprietary platform to target non-mutating molecular patterns, specifically cancer-associated sugars (glycans) and lipids, which are uniquely present on the surface of cancer cells and highly enriched on cancer stem cells. By binding to these targets, VRAD600 delivers a radioactive payload designed for both diagnostic imaging and targeted radiotherapy. This dual-action approach aims to overcome drug resistance and prevent tumor regeneration by specifically eliminating the cancer stem cell populations that often survive conventional treatments and contribute to relapse.
