Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VRB-102 is an injectable, once-weekly dual amylin and calcitonin receptor agonist (DACRA) being developed by Verdiva Bio for the treatment of obesity and related cardiometabolic disorders. It is designed as a long-acting peptide that activates both amylin and calcitonin receptors to enhance satiety, reduce food intake, and promote weight loss, and is intended for use in combination with Verdiva’s oral GLP-1 agonist VRB-101 to achieve greater and more durable body-weight reduction than single-pathway incretin therapy.[1][3][7]
