Overview

VRN15 is a potent, small-molecule Pan-RAF inhibitor originally discovered by Voronoi and licensed to METiS Therapeutics for global development (excluding South Korea). It is designed to inhibit all members of the RAF family, including ARAF, BRAF, and CRAF (RAF1). Unlike first-generation BRAF inhibitors, Pan-RAF inhibitors like VRN15 are intended to avoid the paradoxical activation of the MAPK pathway in cells with wild-type BRAF and mutant RAS, potentially offering a broader therapeutic window and efficacy in BRAF-mutant and RAS-mutant cancers such as melanoma, colorectal cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer. METiS Therapeutics utilizes its proprietary AiMOP (AI-driven Multi-Objective Optimization) platform to optimize the formulation and delivery of the asset, which is currently in preclinical development.
