Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VRP-007 is a preclinical-stage targeted drug delivery candidate being developed by Venus Remedies (specifically through its research arm, Venus Medicine Research Centre) for the treatment of cancer (oncology). The candidate is designed using Venus's proprietary target-based drug delivery technologies, which include Stealth Targeted Nanodelivery (STN) and Drug-Protein-Polymer-Conjugate (DPPC) platforms. These platforms aim to enhance the influx and retention of active anticancer agents in target cancer cells while minimizing uptake by normal cells, thereby improving therapeutic efficacy and reducing side effects. As of the latest pipeline updates, VRP-007 has completed the formulation and development (F&D) stage, with further preclinical and clinical development pending.
