Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VRT002-D is a preclinical-stage oncology candidate developed by Venus Remedies using its proprietary Drug-Protein-Polymer-Conjugate (DPPC) platform technology. The DPPC platform is a triple-conjugate system designed for targeted drug delivery, comprising a protein moiety that selectively binds to a target organ or tumor site, a polymer moiety covalently linked to the protein, and an active drug payload. This targeted approach aims to increase the concentration and retention of the active drug at the tumor site while minimizing uptake by normal cells, thereby reducing systemic toxicity and side effects. VRT002-D is currently in the formulation and development (F&D) stage of preclinical research.
