Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VT-01 is an orally available small-molecule inhibitor of TEA domain (TEAD) transcription factors and Yes1 associated transcriptional regulator (YAP1), components of the Hippo signaling pathway that regulate cell proliferation and survival. By inhibiting TEAD–YAP1–mediated transcription, VT-01 is designed to suppress oncogenic gene expression programs in tumors with dysregulated Hippo pathway activity. Initially developed by Vivace Therapeutics for oncology indications, VT-01 is in preclinical development with lead programs focused on glioblastoma and meningioma.[1]
