Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VT-101 is a recombinant oncolytic adenovirus injection solution currently under investigation for the treatment of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). It is administered via intravesical instillation and is designed to evaluate its efficacy and safety in patients with NMIBC. Oncolytic viruses selectively infect and replicate within cancer cells, leading to cell lysis and the release of tumor antigens, which can subsequently stimulate an anti-tumor immune response.
