Overview

VT-101 is a recombinant oncolytic adenovirus being developed for the treatment of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). Administered via intravesical instillation, the drug is designed to selectively replicate within and destroy malignant cells in the bladder lining while sparing healthy tissue. This selective replication leads to direct oncolysis and may stimulate a secondary anti-tumor immune response. The Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University is sponsoring Phase 1/2 clinical trials to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of VT-101 in patients with high-risk and very high-risk NMIBC.
