Overview

VT500X is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody developed by Vigeo Therapeutics for the treatment of various cancers. It specifically targets Serine protease 2 (PRSS2), also known as Trypsin-2. PRSS2 is a serine protease that is often overexpressed in the tumor microenvironment, where it contributes to tumor progression, extracellular matrix remodeling, and metastasis. By inhibiting PRSS2, VT500X aims to disrupt these pro-tumorigenic pathways. It is being developed as part of Vigeo's oncology pipeline, often appearing alongside VT400X.
