Overview

VTK-235 is a preclinical-stage targeted protein degrader being developed by Vitarka Therapeutics for the treatment of RAS-driven solid tumors. The drug is designed to act as a Pan-ErbB degrader, targeting the entire ErbB family of receptor tyrosine kinases, which includes Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR/ErbB1), HER2 (ErbB2), HER3 (ErbB3), and HER4 (ErbB4). By utilizing a targeted protein degradation (TPD) approach, VTK-235 aims to eliminate these proteins entirely rather than simply inhibiting their kinase activity, potentially overcoming resistance mechanisms common in ErbB-dependent and RAS-mutant cancers. The program is currently in the discovery and efficacy stages of preclinical development.
