Overview

VTS105 is a novel trispecific T-cell engager (TCE) designed to target both B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D) on tumor cells, while simultaneously engaging CD3 on T cells. Developed by VelaVigo, the antibody is intended to treat hematologic malignancies, particularly multiple myeloma (MM), by addressing antigen escape and resistance mechanisms associated with single-target therapies. By dual-targeting BCMA and GPRC5D, VTS105 aims to provide broader tumor coverage and eliminate heterogeneous cancer cell populations. Additionally, the drug is being explored for autoimmune indications such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and lupus nephritis (LN), where these targets are upregulated. As of early 2025, it is in preclinical development with an Investigational New Drug (IND) filing planned for the second half of 2026.
