Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Vulinacimab (HLX06) is a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2). By binding to VEGFR-2, it inhibits the VEGF signaling pathway, which plays a critical role in tumor angiogenesis—the formation of new blood vessels that supply nutrients to tumors. Vulinacimab is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors and has undergone early-phase clinical trials to assess its safety and efficacy. The drug was originally developed by Henlix Biotech and further developed by Henlius Biopharmaceuticals[1][3][4][7].
