VVD-159642 is an investigational, orally administered small molecule inhibitor developed to target RAS-driven cancers. It is designed to selectively prevent RAS activation of the PI3Kα pathway, thereby blocking oncogenic signaling while sparing normal cellular function. This approach aims to inhibit tumor growth and avoid the on-target toxicities that have limited previous attempts at targeting this pathway.
